Bank of England boss hints at future interest rate cuts

Andrew Bailey, The Governor of the Bank of England hinted at aggressive rate cuts in an interview with “The Guardian” earlier today as inflationary pressures continue to ease. However, given events in The Middle East, this week and a spike in oil prices of 3%, this week a close eye is being kept on the potential impact this will have on inflation and ultimately the cost of living in the UK.
